lol, and another person who instantly boxes anyone who a balanced match maker in any form added to CW as a skilless player who doesn't want to work in a team.

please stop blending the issues that are very separate..... its like me saying your another player who enjoys roflstomping with premade vs pug, and you don't enjoy a challenging balanced match.

and as far as headphones go, I can't hear my wife scream at me with em on, and that usually results in something being thrown in my direction, at speed, and quite heavy, hitting my head right before i black out, so no, headphones are not an option either.

I would ask what is your opposition to having a balanced match maker of any sort added to CW ???

I like how people assume that better players just love rolling people and are absolutely afraid of a equal fight. In truth thats how you actually improve you fight people equal or better than you, rolling pugs doesn't teach you anything and actually reinforces bad behavior that good pilots will punish you for.

see, i would welcome balanced matches over roflstomps for exactly the reasons you've stated, whats your opposition to having a balanced match for everyone available ???

MM would make drops more enjoyable for them.
But it's not a true solution.
A bad player playing vs bad players, will never improve.

The true solution is joining a team, a place where greenies can learn.

yes and ?? if the bad players are grouped with similarly bad players, this frees up the field for those more skilled / hard core whatever, what is the problem with allowing a match maker to do that for us all ???

added bonus : you don't get to run matches with / against them, again your problem with this is ???

From a fellow pugger in CW: Please stop asking for the queue to be split.
The playerbase is simply not there to support such an approach.

I like dropping alone in CW (for most of the times), but also in a group if somebody is available.

So if you don't want to join a team: learn the maps, improve your builds, see your damage rise.

They should implement, only during the Battle of Tukayyid, solo queues. This would balance out a lot of the issues that these CW events have.

Guys, you're missing the point. Bolded it for you. The reason there is no MM in CW is that the population is too low, NOT because everyone should stop whining and join a unit. The OP suggests that during CW-events, the population is high enough to allow for some matchmaking, and he may be correct.

If you truly want more people to join a unit and play CW or group matches, then you should realize that the best way to make people interested is to give them a good experience when they try it. More balanced matches and less insults will give beginners a better experience and they might just want to do it again, perhaps even with a unit this time. And matching "bads" with "bads" isn't pointless, everyone learns. If this was not true, how did the first players learn? Right, by playing other beginners. Not as fast as being trained by a team of excellent team mates, but probably much faster than being steamrolled and spawncamped by excellent opponents.

Taking a piss at people being rolled by premades doesn't achieve anything, except possibly making the premades feel good about themselves (which they shouldn't because they havn't achieved anything).

I am not even playing this event, but I just have to drop a few lines when I read things like this. Less farming and more even match-ups can only have good consequences, if it can be practically done. During events, it may be possible because for a few days the CW population is larger.
