The locust won't contribute, because if you save it till the last wave you will be facing Streakcrows that will kill you or Arctic Cheetahs that will be hard to track at your weapon ranges.
You could downsize to a Zeus to replace your Banshee or also upgrade to a Wolfhound on the light end. BJ-1X is also a good fourth wave mech. I would keep the Banshee and go Jager to replace the Mauler.
If you are looking for new mechs I would say Jager-DD, Thunderbolt-9SE/5SS or one of the many Battlemaster variants. Stalkers are too slow and situational IMHO.

ive got all the jagers and tuds (exept the top dog) the DD is good but too fragile and not enough ammo for cw (imo)

It doesnt unless you are simply a better pilot than the clanner you face. I always tend to tell people not to look only for range quirks. Personally I do not like snipers and I feel like their efficiency is limited. Also what most people tend to ignore in any range discussion is that most CW maps favour fights between 300 and 700m. There are exceptions of course but I find that often having 900m range isnt all that much of an advantage. If you can get way less laser duration or heat instead, go for that (I'd take laser duration modules over range if that existed).
Here's my list of mechs I had success with (meaning between 500 and 800 dmg average per mech over the matches I've used them in):
TDR-5SS (2LPL, 5MPL)
TDR-9SE (3LPL, 2ML)
GRF-1E/SPARKY (2LPL, 4ML)
CTF-1X (AC/20, 4ML)
HBK-4G (AC/20, 2ML)
ENF-4R (3LL, 2ML)
GRF-1S (4LL)
BLR-1G (3LPL, 3ML)
Stalker, Banshee, Mauler, Wolverine, Jagermech, Black Knight, Grasshopper, Blackjack, Crab? should work around the same level with some training, I dont own any of them however so I cant make any promises. I also found that the Atlas has become a lot more usable but it is a difficult mech to master imho.

I currently have pretty good success with my current deck
Spider, Crab, Mad, Stalker
It covers all of my bases. A good ecm scout and support mech
A good mobile ranged weapon platform that tanks well int he Crab and Mad
A good solid get up front and punch them in the mouth if I have to mech with the Stalker.

It paid off a lot for me in pug vs pug play and a little bit vs teams. I mostly use JagerDD with 3 UAC5s, Gridiron with Gauss or my 6 ERLL Battlemaster. Either be faster and more agile to avoid return fire (Gridiron) or just hit harder at your ideal range (popping 9x9 coolshot and doing an alpha on 6 ERLL can make frontline mech backoff pretty quickly to stall a push even if you're 800-900m away.

You're right dear. The 4 UAC5 King Crab is TOTALLY inferior to that 4 AC5 build.
The problem is that you don't have enough bj1x's and firestarters to go 100tons do you?

For some reason most clanners won't stand around long enough for the second AC20 to the face, 60 damage basically front loaded with 5ML and the duration reduction, if you get into the second AC20 shot/3rd-4th ML cycle anything that was standing there isn't.

Zues-9S. 3xLL, 3xML. For when I need extra armor and some tanking in the drop.
ENF-5D, XL-300, 3xLL, max JJs, 14Dubs, armor. Filled out the tonnage lastly and is plenty fast enough to get to the front line quickly.
Anyway, in good drops I only would go through my first two quickdraws. In bad drops the Zeus and ENF would come out.

BLR-1G (3LPL, 3ML, Big XL)
TDR-5SS (7MPL)
TDR-5S (4LL)
FS9-S (5MPL)
I also have a TDR-9SE (3LPL 2MPL) that I swap out the TDR-5S when I'm not on maps that favor range.
Yes, I like my wubs.
Going to flesh out some more chassis to give me some more options for CW. I have no BJs, only 1 STK. Really don't like the *look* of the Wolverines, but I may break down and get a few, since I have the loyalty one. May consider MAD as well, since I got those.
