maybe you guys have seen this...
When I am in one of my most expensive Mechs like a Hero or (S) / (c) that I get a better team.
That my team wins or it is at least a good game.
But
When I'm in a cheaper Mech it seems my team gets humbled to say the least.
Any of you notice something like this?

Just you.
To me it just comes in waves. Some days are good, and some are bad. If things seem rough, I move to another mech and/or weight class. If that doesn't do it, it is on to another game.
In any case, I've not noticed a Hero/Special/Champion mech giving me better luck.

Totally just you. I own all and almost exclusively play Hero and (S) variants and this is not the case at all.

Its entirely possible that your cheaper chassis just have less effective loadouts on them compared to your Hero mechs.
You have a larger investment(actual money) in those Heros, and most likely have invested more into the loadouts.

I'll assume you're being serious, and not just a little tongue in cheek about this, but yeah as everyone else has stated, just you...

I've got "cursed" mechs... specific mechs that just can't get a win. For me it isn't about cost (Hero vs. std variants). The St Ives Blue for example just has teams crumble around it. Every. Frikkin. Time. Any other mech in that weight (even other variants of the Vindi), and I can get wins. I've got other mechs with similar load outs to the SIB, and those do fine.
So I gave up and just call the SIB (and the other couple like it) my "PSR stabilizers".

I play better in mech i like even if based on dumb things like how the mech look or nice paint pattern or cbills bonus. Then when i look at the stats, i don't actually play better in them so i guess when you are in a good place in your mind everything around you seems nicer.

Hm - well if it was more expensive / a cash mech, you probably play it more. I think *some* claims of P2W in the past have been the same. If I paid more and it confers some cbill or other benefits then I'd naturally run it more, ultimately getting more proficient in the paid chassis than the free cbill version.
