So, now they brung up a comparison, I'd like to see what you guys think of it, and I'll have my two cents at the bottom:

(Spoiler to save the space...!)

HIGHLANDERS
Spoiler

ORIONS

Spoiler

HUNCHBACKS

Spoiler

JENNERS

Spoiler

Okay, I'll put my opinions of them under categories.

Highlander IIC

  • Slightly Taller than the original.
  • Higher mounted weapons (On the arms and LRM hardpoint)
  • Slimmer back
  • Shield Arms.
  • Feet are the same.
  • Stands up straighter.

Orion IIC

  • Under slung ballistic placement.
  • Leveled and less protruding Torso alignment (like arctic cheetah, and I called it, I'm so happy for it!!! ...And me for calling better hitboxes :) )
  • Higher mounted missile hardpoints (Arm and torso)
  • Longer pelvic torso
  • Feet are the same.
  • Same height and legs (When I say legs I mean same sitting height)
  • Shield Arms(?) (Only can see one good one as of now)

Hunchback IIC

  • Taller Hunches (Gun mounts), more mass overall
  • Straighter arms
  • Lower sitting stance.
  • Possible Hunches that block POV(? I watched stream, but couldn't tell if they did that)
  • Fuller Legs
  • Slimmer back

Jenner IIC

  • Chicken legs!!!
  • Fuller legs
  • Similar height
  • Shorter Center Torso
  • Slimmer back

All in all, the best mech out of all of them for hitboxes may be the Orion IIC, which I've been saying for quite some time. Those torsos are SLIM, like the cheetah :-)

The best mech that got a upgrade in height was the Highlander IIC, with better weapons placement, and the Orion would've gotten this if not for its low gauss rifle placement.

But, all of them now don't have backs that stick out so that the enemy can't core them from the front by hitting their rear anymore.

And the Hunchback IIC's height, those legs are squat, really squat. Guess somehow the IIC version of the hunchback is taller than the IS one, didn't know that (It's been to long).

9/10 for the awesome changes PGI, -.5 for the Orions low gauss placement, and another .5 for the odd hunchback IIC ride height. But that's all the things I don't like about it!!!

I still don't like that the orion's right arm is not round like it should be but overall I like it. Looks really bulky, but not that much wider than the IS version. Front profile is still awesome imho. Like in the "awesome" mech, not like in "hell yeah" Posted Image

in before the "they just reused old parts" posts of people who have no clue about 3d design, game design, texturing, UV layouting, rigging and animation.

hint: not even one single mesh was reused in thei IIC mechs. Not even one bit of anything.

HBK shoulder mounts look like they protrude significantly less.

Aww... I wanted to complain that the feet were the same parts, way to preemptively ruin my fun.

WOW. It looks like they might have even shrunk the Jenner IIC's torso so that it would offset the larger legs, and come out to be a similar size to Jenner.

That is dedication, and i am glad they didn't recycle the jenner's torso and just slap large legs on there

I'm liking the jenner. I'd upgrade for the hbk but I have to play good and do the whole xmas thing. As for clowns I just happen to have purple, white and green colors for my mechs. Add on the urbie war horn and I'm all ready to get clown in your face with srm.

Some minor grievances here and there, but overall I think they did well with these 4 mechs. I really wish there was more paint on the Highlander IIC.

PGI research shows that the majority of Clan players are in fact Juggalos.

IIC mechs in general have less protruding backs than their IS counterparts, which means their CT survivability is much higher when shot from the sides or the back. Like the Timberwolf.

As a Battlemaster pilot, I am jealous of their backs.

All in all, the IIC mechs look like more completed and refined versions of the originals, especially when you look at the Hunch IICs arms and legs to the original.

I wasn't planning on ever getting these, but a refund fiasco and the generosity of Mr. Garden has ensured me this pack. I think I'm very excited, particularly for that Highlander bonus variant.

2UAC10s, 3 CMPLs, 2 ASRM6s.

The longer I look at the Orion IIC, the more I think its hitboxes are going to be exceedingly more forgiving than the original.

Overall I like them, but I think the Highlander's shoulders look a little silly. More like a toy than a futuristic weapon of war. I can almost picture a spring-loaded plastic missile in place of that Gauss. The rest, though? Great job evoking that "next model year" feel that the IICs should have.

The paint job I have no problem with, because that is exactly the kind of loud, ridiculous, obnoxious flag I want to be flying when I troll around in my brand shiny new dual-UAC20 Hunchie. I want 'em to see what punched their nose out the back of their skull. The Jenner looks like it has a mouth full of teeth, which is entirely appropriate for a fast predator.

The Jenner IIc looks like it is standing up straighter and it has a module of some sort on its CT Missile rack that is making it even taller.
