Hi,
My suggestion is that it would be nice to see where on the minimap I will be dropping during the Ready Screen. This would allow me and my Unit to develop strategy for the impending game while still in the Ready screen. As of now, not knowing where you will drop makes it hard to coordinate with lancemates and teammates in the early stages of the game.
Just a thought. Dont know how hard this would be to do from the Devs side of things.
Comments welcome.

You're right this should be done.
I also feel that (technically) given the traditional transit time for a dropship
we should have time enough to swap out a mech
as you would know what map stats are before the drop
eg you know you will drop on a hot planet you would not bring your heat hog 12 ERMed
this might make for a more balanced and enjoyable drop

Seconded.
Even for a pure PUG player like me, it would be nice to know where I drop (even in a PUG-match it might be possible to talk about where to cap first in Conquest and stuff)
As for swapping out mechs, I´m not in favor of that. Overcoming the problems of an unsuitable map is one of the challenges I like - but then, that´s just me.
