Well, being a long time DC fan, one of my close friends (who normally backs Davion) was surprised when I hadn't declared my allegiance to DC already ;)

Well, I find myself at a point in my life where I take it a little easier, particularly when it comes to games. So, I had looked at Marik, despite the purple assault and looked elsewhere. I was followin the 3rd LAG, but saw he reorganized it.

So my question, is there canonical room for a McHale's (Or Captain Tylor if you wanted to go that route) Mech group. I know, it's almost contrary to most of the tenants of DC... but all the more reason for a collecting area for such.

Anyone have anything running? I'm not opposed to joining existing structures just somewhat easy going and wouldn't mind my in-universe existence to be likewise.

There's no organized form of faction or corps play at this time, people are basically just getting lists and creating groups at this time. I'm sure if you wanted to start your own, nobody is going to object. Or you can check out the hiring hall thread http://mwomercs.com/...94-hiring-hall/

Hahaha... too funny.

@Greyrook: Yeah, just was asking canonically if there was room for a group like I had mentioned. I'm not quite the Battletech dictionary I used to be.

Konnichi-wa Plymouth,

Go to the HK website http://www.housekurita.org

there you can look at existing Merc units, You could if so inclined start your own Merc unit
or I have a "MWO House Warrior" Thread where you could just list yourself as a house warrior
then change over later if you wanted to, The devs have said it will be a while before "community warfare"
will be implemented.

If anything, I would guess that the Ghost Regiments (composed of "the undesirables of the Draconis Combine - women, lower classes and the Yakuza") and/or the Legion of Vega ("tainted by the stigma of being a collection of misfits and malcontents unsuitable to serve in other DCMS units"; "a 'sink' unit where soldiers who were unable to die honorably in battle, mercenaries who fell prey to the Combine's Company Store ploys, misfits, troublemakers, and malcontents could be isolated from the rest of the DCMS") would be the types of units that would best foster a Captain Tylor-esque story.

Your thoughts?
