Thank you Alex! Thank you MWO art dep! Thank you a 1000 times! It's bought! You kept the spirit of my most favourite unseen and brought it to 2015!

Now please make LRMs high speed direct fire weapons that are not influenced by ECM. (ECM would impact Artemis however) Indirect LRM fire only should be an option against stationary targets and require a designated no weapon firing spotter and in no way be usefull against moving targets. They never worked that way and indirect fire was only used in those very rare cases in tabletop where the enemy did dig in.

So, this is what happens when Battletech and Transformers meet. Still, looks alright.

Actually, this is what it looks like when PGI takes a stand and makes a commitment to give us what we have been asking for.

Yeah I just found the other thread minutes later... my fault:
http://mwomercs.com/...d/page__st__140

@Tennex:
First - love to see mechs with camo and markings very sweet pic!
Second - While I also like some aspects of shimmering swords wider/thicker interpreation of the Archer, here I like Alexs MWO version better as it is more slim and also captures the original design from TRO3025 better:

Toning down the very big feet and arms is an improvement to me and very much resambles the original Ral Partha figure:

So to me Alexs MWO version is the best reinterpretation so far as it keeps the original very much, tones down overproportioned arms/legs like the figure did and has an overall overhaul in more modern surface details.

LRMs arent allowed to be useful weapons. The players wont allow it

disagree, also the Mad Dog was basically a clan kitbash of the Archer and Rifleman to make a heavy support mech... so sort of makes sense they have a similarity. Don't hear people complaining about the Timby And Catapult having similarities.

And no, I think Alex's is way better than Shims. (Shim probably does win the RFL war though)
