I have an issue with the current system for reporting bugs, and I feel that PGI is going about this in the wrong way. Russ, in the recent town hall said something along the lines of not finding testers useful because they normally don't report bugs.

How it currently is reported: email. Then if it's something that requires a response and you wait a week for a suggested solution. If it doesn't work and you email back, they never respond again.

I don't know about you folks, but I really dislike having to alt+tab out, open up my web browser, log into m email, draft it and send it. Unless I find something game breaking, it's just too much hastle.

How it should be: In game. Make a button somewhere (in garage would be good enough, but putting it in the team roster would be okay as well) that says something along the lines of "Report Bug." Once clicked, you choose a category (map, terrain, weapons, etc) and write a description. Put a prompt above the text box saying to add details about when the game was played and other important details if you're reporting from the garage. Reports from a match should fill that info out automatically (concerning what match is being logged).

While it certainly won't make everyone start filing bug reports, I garantee more reports will come in that way than the hastle the email system provides.

Thoughts?
