Big fan off all the mech warrior games, Today in my email box there's an email from IGN sending me a beta key for mechwarrior online and im very dissapointed that its for US NA only.

Yeah, I'm aussie, but that hasn't stopped me from being in other beta's like war inc and blacklight.

I can't get the key it won't show up because I'm not in NA. Was going to get the founders pack for beta access so i might try that and see what happens

Ahh one of the famous IGn key give aways, ive had a few, but they wouldnt work as im also not in the US, and IGN only give away keys to players that live in the US, which is a pain in the butt.

Trying to be funny or just wishful thinking? You don't get ANY key from them when you're invited to beta. So saying you got a beta key is a lie.
WHEN you get invited doesn't matter where you're from, you can play from every part of the world.

Could we be a touch less inflammatory in our posts?

IGN sometimes get keys to give away, have got a few myself over the past few years, the draw back is, even though they have players signed up from all over the world, they keys they give away, can only be used by US based players.
So before you accuse someone of lyeing, check your facts first, as IGN (been a big online game mag/site) do get keys to give away to closed betas of different games.

Good job making yourself look like an asshat. You could get a key from IGN and It would be an actual key you have to redeem on your profile. Only invitez from PGI are keyless... Ever wonder why there was a spot to redeem a code before you got accepted into the beta?

Besides many in NA, my guild right now has members from Canada, the UK, Germany, S. Africa, Finland, Singapore, and yes Australia. Perhaps some players from the land down under have connect issues, but I've yet to hear of any issues from any of our pilots.

not verified but I was told that IGN requires you subscibe to thier prime service before giving beta key. cost is $7.00... if this true,, Shame on IGN. If someone verifies true or not, please post.. www.ign.com/prime/promo/mechwarrior-onliine

Well, I hope you do figure out how to get it working but on the off chance that you don't and you have no one else to give it to, may I please have it? Can't wait to get into this game, but can't really afford a founders right now.

3. You're not allowed to say anything about the game you've experienced.
4. What happens in Beta, stays in Beta.
5. Do not post about beta-related issues outside of the Beta forums.

Just in case you mis-read what he put, hes not alking about being in beta (even though that restriction has now been lifted), hes on about getting a Key from IGN, that he cant use, as he does not live in the US.
And this topic is about the free Keys that IGN are giving away, and not posting about Beta issues, plus the OP does not have Access to the beta forums, as he cant use the key hes been given.
Wish people would read the threads properly before jumping as NDA police, Especialy when the NDA has NOT been broken.
