short question: is there a way to get the assault performance pack without having mwo downloaded via the steam client? i've linked the "normal" client in my steam library

Try the in client store. Could have swore I saw them.

The FAQ says no, it's only available through Steam.

If it's not important enough to you do buy through Steam, it still isn't worth it otherwise. There are better packages you could buy instead.

They removed them. The performance packs are only available through steam because they use the steam regional pricing.

you could download through steam, buy the pack and uninstall from steam again, you'll still have it in your account.
