but really its likely to come after the next wave of IS if at all,
considering that IS are getting the (Return of a Icon) Mechs as Single Packs,
perhaps Clans will get some Singles as well for abit, would be a Nice Change,

Balance tech correctly, give ******* step-child mechs the buffs they need/deserve and the produce new Clan tech mechs with that correct balance in mind (and associated balanced pricing).

First off... stop trying to make the kingfisher a thing. It's a bad mech.
The clan mechs have come pretty much how the inner sphere saw them. The front line mechs were the first 3 waves and the garrison mechs were not as good and were mostly upgraded IS mechs from older designs like the IIC mechs. So until the battle where the wolf mothership takes a suicide hit to it's bridge and the clans pull back for a year to elect a knew Khan of Khans and return. So more garrison mechs would be "lore" friendly. I would say a kodiak would be welcome

Well, the only other timeline-friendly choice for Clan Omnimechs is the Turkina, which is basically a weaker Daishi.
The KF isn't exactly meta, but it does at least fill two holes in the Clan roster: First Clan 90 tonner and first Clan Omni with STD engine. It does at least have more hardpoints than the Turkey...
Its role would be similar to the Gargoyle/Executioner in being a mobile Clan assault that relies on boating medium/small lasers to make up for lacking tonnage (although 24 tons + 7 hardwired DHS isn't too bad when you have several energy hardpoints).
Turkina and KF spreadsheets, for reference:

problem, Clan waves are using the front line invasion mechs of 3050 (with acceptions to the front line 3052)
The thing is we only got 2 mechs available for 3050 front line.
Firemoth "Dasher" (20 ton)
Viper "Dragonfly" (40 ton).
Problem is Firemoth is already at the speed limit without speed tweak, and it also has masc... big no no due to server issues
Viper is an option but it is everything bad about the kitfox and nova with the only things good about the nova b and ice ferret put into one... in short: not competitive. (not that I care but that's what others care).
But even then- this is just 1 medium mech... what other omnimechs can we cram? We can try for omnimechs that are not front lines.... like the Howler (baboon), a 20 ton light that is a slow LRM boat. But i can't think of many or any assaults or heavies for the bill....
I think Origins II will come out first. With the options very wide and open!
Light: Locust IIC, Commando IIC, Urbanmech IIC, etc.
Medium: Shadowhawk IIC, Griffin IIC, Wolverine IIC (Conjurer/ Hellhound)
Heavy: Rifleman IIC
Assault: Kingcrab IIC(?) / Supernova, Maruader IIC, Warhammer IIC
Also another clan pack focused on clan battletechs that are not IIC's can work well... so many out there like Piranha, kraken, kodiak, stone rhino, grizzly, woodsman, kingfisher, etc. (I think one of those is an omni... derp)
So do not expect a Wave IV until mechs like the Nova, Cougar, Timberwolf II, etc come out in say 8 or less years.

Nope, we also have the Fire Falcon for Clan light Omnimech. It's a 3052 mech, and the current MWO timeline year is 3052. The Fire Falcon is basically a Locust IIC with Omnipod abilities added to it.
Heavy options are the Linebacker, Night Gyr, and Crossbow. The Crossbow is atrociously terrible and the Linebacker is mediocre, while the Night Gyr is godmode.
Assault options are the Turkina and Kingfisher. Turkey is a poor man's Dire Wolf, while the Kingfisher is a poor man's Executioner.
An honorable mention for Clan medium Omnimech is the Huntsman, which is basically what the Nova wishes it could be.

It isn't.
it's just an option when there is nothing left to do for a pack, for eg atm Clan Wave IV can't happen as all front line mechs between 3050 and 3052 are gone besides Firemoth (which can't be added )and Viper. So selling the viper as a stand alone instead of waiting 7 years for the cougar, timberwolf II, or Nova Cat to come out is a better option.
On top of that it's only 1 by 1's for the classic mechs as it's a form of kick starter for PGI to say: "YES! we love these new art style and we do not mind for the Wasp, Hornet, stinger, Valkyrie, Phoenixhawk, Marauder II, Longbow, Marauder IIC, Warhammer IIC, Rifleman IIC, to come out!".... as well as a buffer when harmony gold fires lawsuits all the sudden for random spontaneous reasons....

I thought the current year is 3051? (with 3052 being in 20 days! I want my raptors delivered on a silver platter PGI)
I forgot about the Fire Falcon. However isn't the crossbow nearly faded out by this point, and the other heavies only second line / garrison mechs? (so another pack unless I missed somewhere that wave = omnimechs and not initial invasion mechs as they all try to make me think with the whole "invasion" designation)
I actually kinda want a Crossbow sadly ^^; I just want to have duel LRM 20 with artemis with uber quirks and run around lurming.

Or just give us the Night Gyr.

I said what I want, and the Night Gyr doesn't have the quirkyness of the fact the IS also got the same mech but being a battlemech with similar payloads.
I want a Crossbow vs Crossbow duel. Unless the IS have a Night Gyr as well =P

Jumbo Packs are bad, and people asking for them should feel bad. Wouldn't mind there next group of mechanical being Clanners, but only if released singlely, like the Unseen.
