Today was the first time I'd played since the last patch, and I noticed that the screens in my Locust 1V's cockpit (the LCDs off to the side that used to say "no signal") are now lit up and show... I dunno, some kind of scanner and other gizmos that don't do anything but are there for immersion I assume.
I like that PGI finally did something with these placeholder screens that were blank for so many years, but does anyone else have a problem with the brightness of said screens, or know if there's a way to adjust the brightness like with the cockpit interior lighting? When I played mining collective today, for instance, I found that the brightness of the screens significantly hampered my night vision. They're easier to deal with when I turn on night or IR vision, but Mining Collective is just bright enough that I can normally see a bit better without the aids. Now I can't though, because the brightness of the screens is rather bothersome to me.

There is no brightness slider for those monitors or something like that (maybe some obscure .cfg line somebody knows about) but you can turn them off in the game's settings.

Okay... Sorry, that's gotta be spell-checked...

Anywho, getting back to the topic... I second clicking off those extra annoyances, even though it leaves blanks spots all around. I found them to be nothing but an annoyance on their release day, and they definitely don't help with night situations, be it in-game or IRL.

We have asked for so many things for those screens to display. Rear View Cameras. Links to C3 systems. Direct connection to the twitch stream (ok maybe that one is a bit much lol). Wife Nag 2.0 (your wife pops up and demands you stop playing and come spend time with her)

Yeah. It'd be good if you could adjust the brightness of the cockpit monitors with the same key that does the cockpit lights
