Sorry all i just saw the post on how to through mwo client sorry for my ignorance.

I think you copy your MWO folder in it's entirety to your Steam apps folder then try to install from steam. It should find the game folder and be ok from there.....at least I've heard something like that works.

Yep that's what I did. Just copy the folder "Mechwarrior Online" whereever you currently have it to where ever you have Steam installed inside its "steamapps\common" folder. After that has finished just press install and it will start detecting.
