Hello,

I have basic question on the future skill tree system.

Will we be able to "undo" our selections? How final is my decision?

At the moment I am poor at using PPCs so I use standard lasers in many of my builds. In the new system I will take my current favorite mastered Mech and select many of the standard laser upgrades.

One year from now let me work with the illusion that I have become an elite player that can place pretty, blue, balls of death exactly where I want them.

In the skill tree can I unselect the standard laser upgrades and now select PPC upgrades? Will I need a new chassis? Before this was done by switching out the weapon modules.

They've confirmed that you can respec skills on a skill-by-skill basis. It costs c-bills, and you lose the XP you put into said skill, but it allows you to technically respec the tree on your mech. It just requires more c-bills and XP to go down the other nodes after respec.
