Hello MechWarriors!

Tonight at 5PM PDT our Steam Launch Party will begin!

We will have all the Devs with friends and family and many invited guests and community members of MWO at the Piranha Games studio to celebrate the Steam Launch!

During this party we will have a Live Stream on our Piranha Twitch Channel where you will see the studio during the party along with speeches by Russ Bullock, MWO challenges, mini interviews and many giveaway prizes for both our guests and the stream viewers hosted by B B Wolfe on Twitch!!

So make sure to come watch the live Stream this evening to celebrate with us from home!

I was " " this close to signing up for the event, kinda glad I didn't. Been sick as a dog for the last 2 weeks and work has gone nuts, with half our staff at work giving notice. As much as I wanted the break, it wouldn't have worked out.

Hope it's fun for the guests, I'll check out the stream tonight if I'm sad and lonely not too busy living the dream.

Will this stream be recorded and shared via twitch or youtube at a later time? I won't be able to see it live but would love to see everything that is gone over and announced.

So while you guys celebrate in this party....THERE IS NO TOURNAMENT EVENT OR CHALLENGE EVENT FOR THE NEW "STEAMERS" in the game. This weekend, the NEW PLAYERS will not get FREE GOODIES AND SUCH...(like cockpit items, colors, etc)...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

COME ON PGI !!!!!!!!!!!!! I EXPECTED WAY MORE!!!!!!

IF YOU OFFERED FREE STUFF THIS WEEKEND FOR THE NEW PLAYERS ON STEAM IT WOULD MAKE YOUR "LAUNCH" A BIG EVENT AND MOST LIKELY INCREASE THE PLAYER BASE WHICH MEANS MORE MONEY IN YOUR POCKET!!!!!

Also I would like to see work on the UNIT Coffers, it would be nice if they were to be able to be used in the Game. We still need a 16 weapon Atlas. Put some weapon hardpoints on the Legs/Hip. It has 100 tons....it needs more weapon hardpoints. Call it, "The Cranky" ATLAS....

Atlas with 16 weapons, all of them hatchets. Purely cosmetic, with no in-game function except heaping piles of ghost heat.

Awesomesauce! Will watch. I've been trying my hardest to get word out about the game to my friends, but they can't play games until after exams are over on the 18th.

I hope you guys postpone new player events until Christmas week. Many people probably have to focus on exams right now.

Only "prize" I want is a pre-steam icon or something. The newbies can get thier own prize with a steam icon or something. Neat idea floated around by other players here. Otherwise a mini event to goad some newbies into performing better would be nice. Too bad there isn't stats that take into account team work.
