Hello Mechwarriors,
is there anyone out there who has bought a 21:9 monitor recently ?
(a great example of this type is the Samsung 34 inch S34E790C with a resolution of 3440:1440 pixels)
I'm interested if there are any problems in playing MWO with such a monitor ?
(resolution setting, field of view support, and so on...)
And if anyone could post some screenshots from that kind of monitor I would be very happy.
Thanks !

I'm using an LG 21:9 superwide and all is fine. Ya might wanna make sure your graphics card has a display port connection though, my screen wouldn't do jack without it. o7

I recently bought a LG34UM95 (34" 21:9)
Game looks fantastic.
Just found a quick screenie for ya:

These image sites kind of screw up the scale here though, its less blurry than shown on this image.
Also dont mind the crappy graphics but that is just how I like to play
Running at 3440x1440 is no issue for the game, just gotta get used to the buttons in the mech lab being a bit more tiny.
The only 'issue' i could think of is the fact that you most likely will have to run FOV on 60 for alot of mechs, because going any higher doesnt gain any advantage because of closed cockpit sides (Stalker for instance)
On other mechs like the Ebon Jaguar you can go up a notch higher to like 70~ but its no biggy.

Thanks for the information and the screenshot !
Nice to see that Ultra-wide-view. I think I would also appreciate it, when I would have it...
