Not at all when you leave the match before its over .... its over.
You could rejoin as long as the instance is still open but in any case you have to wait till the match is over.
As soon as the instance closes you have no way of seeing the detailed stats of a single match.

If you want to see results, you have to stay until the end.

You still get credit for what you did until you disconnected, but you don't get the results screen if you leave early.

also if you damaged a Mech which is killed after you disconnect you do not get the assist, but if you stay connected you do.

it is often worth waiting until the end and spectating other players, that will give you some potentially extremely valuable incite into how others play, you can learn a lot (of what to do and what not to do) by seeing how other players play.

While I agree with you that spectating is a great way to learn, and I love seeing how the match turned out, you do get credit for kill assists if you disconnect after dying.

I have tested this worth the achievement section. Progress was increased after disconnect when I was the first mech to die in the game. This was my first match of the day (didn't die on purpose), and I waited to see it unlock and update before dropping again.

yes but unless they have changed it recently and I missed the update in patch notes, only the assists you had earned up to the time you disconnect,
so if the Mech is still alive when you disconnect you do not get the assist, PGI explained this some time ago (and no, I am not going through the last 2 years of patch notes and command chair posts to find the exact quote)

unfortunately I cannot think of a way to prove this one way or another, and it is possible I am working off outdated information but I do not think so

That used to be my impression as well previous to the test I performed.

The only "penalties" for disconnecting in terms of earnings occur when d/cing prior to death.

I have a couple of things for this discussion. You get all the rewards, including assists after you leave, if you disconnect AFTER you die. To answer Rouge Jedi, it was included in the patch that had the last round of action reward adjustments. I don't know if it was included in the patch notes, but Russ mentioned it in the Town Hall that was at the same time as the patch. I ave tested it as well.

To address something else you can do after you die, I'd like to say it may behoove you to help your team. While you are dead you can view the battle from the view point of any mech still alive. Chat still works, so you can help direct your team quite effectively. Considering PSR and match rewards are heavily affected by the win/loss outcome, sticking around to help by calling enemy position and helping to direct the team can lead to better rewards.
