[Jun Watarase]

It frequently flashes after every match. I check it, expecting to see a message or alert, but i find nothing. Has anyone else noticed this?

Its not the button for MWO news and promotions if thats what you mean. Im referring to the friends list button.

no i meant the message of the day from your unit, If I set that, the button flashed everytime I launched until i looked at it.

It happens to me after CW match,when people were chatting in faction chat while i was in the match,no new messages in my friends chat at all,but bloody thing keeps on flashing

Its like the check engine light on your car, it lights up exactly 5 min after your warranty expires.

To continue the analogy further, even though it was just a predetermined time to light up you ignore it at your own peril. I once ignored it thinking ok I just logged on, message of the Day. No it wasn't, it was a drop invite to some of the best clanner smashing and celebrations ever seen in CW. They drank mead among the ashes of the enemy till dawn of the 3rd day after the Battle.
Oh yeah and I once ignored the light in my car and the engine had a meltdown MW4 style with a bright blue flash of visible radiation.

For some reason the client thinks the message of the day from your group is important enough to flash every time you log in, even when it never changes.

Please devs, fix this so it only blinks if there's an update, otherwise people will just ignore it and when they actually get a message or friend request they'll ignore because they'll have been trained to ignore the flashing from the beginning.

Every time I log on and after every match. Just figured it was constantly telling me my friends are playing or it did it for reasons™.
