Lost it a bit and turned around and nipped back. If you are the guy in the Marauder who I LPL'd in the face, I apologize. Not saying you were right but that my response was wrong.
The rest I would like to be constructive for new players.
MWO is a bit different Team Damage is a thing. You can kill your teammates. It happens, if you're not rubbing its not MWO. In hot fights its almost unavoidable someone will cross your path unexpectedly and you can't unpress the button. This is part of the game.
In a lot of situations its totally avoidable and may get return fire.
On the drop do not just start firing as soon as the buttons work. You drop in a huddle and arm weapons can clip people you don't see.
Leaving the DZ it is ok to weapons check but make sure a faster mech isn't passing you, arm weapons can clip people you don't see yet.
Choke points, mechs are quick, lasers have duration and bullets and missiles are out of your control once gone. Do not get right behind your teammate and try to shoot around him. He tries to escape and you shoot and block him on accident.
Perfect example of what Im talking about, River City, bridge end of the tunnel, there are 2 side hiding spots just in the door. 1 guy stands a bit back and others take the corner. you hold the choke point by taking turns tanking damage and taking shots while the other guys cool down.
The guy in back, DON"T shoot around your teammate. He will move you shoot and tank then the 3rd guy watches for you to stop so he can step out protecting you with his mech while shooting.
3-4 guys can hold that hole against an entire team no one should be missing back armor.
This is a big deal because a majority of players front load there armor and you can core them pretty quick on accident.
With everyone new wanting to test all of the weapons out, you can kill them pretty quick, half my mechs don't have 20 armor anywhere on the back 1 AC20 from a teammate and Im down. Most of my STs have half that or less and I run xl engines.
Not meaning to sound harsh I am just irritated.
