It looks like someone took everything I hate about Armored Warfare and decided to build a game around it.

Those Russians sure know how to make shallow-as-f**k F2P MMO shooter games.

One thing is kind of funny though. Each and every one of those shallow-as-f**k F2P games have ten times as much lore on their website.

Yeah, i was wondering how many people would click it. I'm pretty sure a couple people that responded so far didn't. :D

Hm. At first I wondered if the developers (GD Team) were affiliated with a larger russian gaming company, because it seemed too convenient that a new F2P game called "MWO" would be released on Steam exactly the same time as Mechwarrior Online. So I wondered if it was a ploy to draw players away from this game.

But then I checked out Gaijin (the guys behind War Thunder and Star Conflict) and the weird thing is that those guys are also developing a fast-paced PVP game featuring fast armored vehicles with guns. How big is the F2P PVP market for these games? Posted Image

Looks like you are still a bit confused on whats going on here... Posted Image

@Alistair: That Gajin game actually looks kind of fun. I reckon its a bit of a Robocraft ripoff. Those ruskie devs love to copy successful/interesting games and put a little twist on them. I guess theres nothing wrong with that really, just not very high on the originality chart. But than again they do sometimes improve on the original game (other than their slight tendency to make the games grindy and unbalanced) so its good for us players. Posted Image

If "For Honour" adds a Galaxy map and character driven factions like MechWarrior has I will try it for sure. If its Blue vrs Red tdm I will try it on the free week end on Steam sometime.

It has to be a fantasy setting to because it silly doing it any other way. But the combat and action looks entertaining.

Good one lol! Remember me someone who made a post about Poe in D3 forum (linking to Edgar Alen Poe, not PathOfExile) before PoE released beta. He was saying it was awesome and the story were great etc etc yet the thread was flooded with blizz fanboy of the worse kind in seconds and it was epic.
