Is it a flat 50k c-bills penalty per remaining day on the contract, and it will always leave you with 3 days left on the contract?

Can you break loyalist contracts?

I have broken a Ghost Bear loyalist contract and it is around 1.5- 2 mil per person to break it.

Loyalist = permanent contract, Ive broken it once too and it cost me around 1.3mill cbills if i recall correctly

So...basically a loyalist contract still costs the same as a 30 day contract to break, but gives you 50% LP bonus instead of 30%? If thats the case, then i dont see any reason not to just choose loyalist all the time as breaking contracts is so cheap (unless you want to switch factions every week)

Except a 30 day contract expires after 30 days and you pay nothing.

Yes...but i get 20% more LP than a 30 day contract and i can still break it when i max out rewards for that faction or get bored and want to switch.

The difference being you could actually wait out a 28 day contract and pay nothing if you chose. So, they set the breakage for the permanent contract equal to the max breakage on the next longest contract. Arbitrary, but so would any other value (e.g. 45 days, 60 days, etc.).

Also, if you break a 28-day contract, you only pay 50k per day remaining on the contract, so you only pay the max amount if you break it immediately after signing it.

i broke a couple of them. even with full loyalist the time it takes to move up the rank tree is so long that you will have made many times what you need to break the contract (it hurts less than a dhs upgrade).

exactly and loyalty points you make almost nothing, like 500-2000 a game and you need like 1 million.

its a grind of ultimate proportions. thats why i faction hop to pick all the low hanging fruit. if you play a lot or are really good it takes about 2 weeks to get to rank 6. i almost did it in a week once, i believe under clan wolf. got within a few hundred points, but an event killed cw populations and i had to take another week contract to finish. of course at the end of it you have a couple mech bays and tens of millions of cbills at your disposal. i would only go full loyalist if you are after the rank 10 mechbay and beyond. i made rank 11 with steiner and i dont want to do that again.

I am close to rank 14 Marik and it takes so long to get a level above after 10
