I would say you run an XL engine in your Jenner.

So the leg was damaged by falling (fall damage) and the damage you take was more than the legs rest structure. The remaining damange was tranfered to your side torso. The structure of the side torso was heavy damaged too. So the transferred damage was more than the rest structure of the side torso. The lose of the side torso destroyed the XL engine so your Mech was destroyed.

Maybee you had ammo in the destroyed leg and the ammo exploded. This means more damage was tranfered to the side torso and destroyed them too.

You appeared to have been severely damaged before death. Fall damage and Med Pulse damage occurred at approx the same time but fall damage was registered last. Since that is the last flag, even if it was by a split sec, the game registered that is what killed you, though likely it was the med pulse laser(s). 4 MPL hitting you is registered as generic MLP damage, not 4 MPL damage.

Or another approach, several MPL shredded everything but a few structural point in the ST. And since isXL are inferior to cXL since loss of one side destroys the mech.. that is another thread. Leg also only a few structural points but not enough to absorb ALL of the falling damage. The remaining falling damage transferred to the ST, taking out the last few points then the cascading event. Loss of side torso also means loss of respective arm and whatever was stored in it. And since the ST had an isXL, death of mech by falling damage.

Did that make any sense?

Thanks, didnt know the damaged would be transferred to the side torso when the leg breaks from Fall damage.

Thats, right ...the leg damage shouldn't be transfered to sidetorso.
It always was the CT that gets damaged when you lost a legg and got further damaged.

Just tested it...its indeed the sidetorso that now takes damge if a destroyed legg gets further damaged.

Leg - ST - CT
Arm - ST - CT

The difference is with the leg, if running an ST engine or in a Clan mech cXL and the side torso has been destroyed, THEN leg damage goes through the non-existent ST then to the CT. And Leg> ST>CT has the transfer damage reduced each time (iirc).

Zarock, tip for the future... Always have enough JumpJets in your JR7-F, such that you should still be able to use some even when your Mech is badly damaged, and always use them when dropping off of things. A landing of any faster than -30m/s to -35m/s (as read in the top right of your center HUD) will generally damage your Mech and cause harm to its' parts.
