Just get Sandpit to post the video he has showing a hit box test.

I and several others have. It's somewhere in the archives. Feel free to dig it up. I'm not your personal librarian :)

I too think PGI got the hit boxes for the MAD about perfect. Rather, they are just fine. Not too good like the Arctic Cheater and not too bad like the Cataphract.

In other words... your aim was off. :)

Considering I was headshot in my Marauder one match, I can confirm it does in-deed have a head hitbox. Darn high alpha King Crab!

The Marauder hitboxes are fine, I've tested them extensively. What you are experiencing is the desynchronization that sometimes occurs with disconnected players.

Observations: this thing should be relatively good at protecting its gun side. It's definitely not XL-safe, but we already figured that out. The CT is a narrow strip like the Stalker, but it blooms out toward the nose - aim there if you want quick corings, it's better than chewing through their entire LT and eating the percentage damage reduction. The cockpit is fairly large and trapezoidal. Also, the underbelly (not pictured) of this thing is almost all side torso, just a tiny strip of CT. If you're looking at the overhead view, you'll notice there is CT where the dorso gun would go - when a ballistic is equipped here it occupies that space and becomes side torso.

Well done to PGI on the hitboxes for this, they clearly put quite a bit of time and thought into them. Some questionable moves here and there, but seems calculated.

ON PAPER THEY ARE FINE.

But in LIVE enviroment they are not.

I HAVE recorded examples of a WOLFHOUND, a ARTIC CHEETAH that the hitboxes are messed up.

Full damage head on centre torso's either warp or are transfered t o SIDETORSO's.

I say it's INTENTIONAL editting of hitboxes.

LOOK at the new reworks and the new mechs so far. COUNT how many times they survive by only having the CENTRE TORSO.

In this case: MAD, ACH, WLF, JENNER, CTPL and more. JENNER + CTPL after rework transfer daamge to ST and less to the CT.

I HAVE no idea how i can touch the gamefiles for extracting hitbox data to back my facts up without having to brute force it.

BUT people wont believe me anyway........

As already EXPLAINED in the REAL matches hitboxes are SUBJECT to VARIABLES not seen in testing such as SERVER LAG and your own PING. The 200ms ping YOU have combined with the 200ms THEY have add up to your TARGET area being 400ms DIFFERENT that you THINK it is. Also, CAPITALIZING random words that you THINK are IMPORTANT is not HELPING it be evidence of a CONSPIRACY.
