We (SAT-1) are a mid size group of 8 people who been playing Battletech Alpha Strike Table Top for the past 6+Months. We are a pretty lax group that enjoy get a laugh or two throughout the day. We are putting out a word to those in or around the greater Birmingham Alabama area to come and join in the fun.
We play both skirmish style games and campaigns, but we play using the relatively new Alpha Strike Rules which is much faster then typical table top. We are looking for additional players(age 20+). We welcome anyone interested in the world of Mechwarrior to come and give it a try. We have some players that drive in from an hour away to play so feel free to drop in if you live outside of Birmingham. No need to purchase a thing unless you want to or you can bring your own units if you already play.
You can find our home base at the Legions Comic Book Store (3248 Cahaba Heights Rd, Birmingham, AL 35243) Even if your not interested in Battletech come stop by there are plenty of other games we play. FYI, we typically play on Saturdays at 12:30pm Central. Feel free to PM with any questions.
