Good morning everyone!

Let me preface this by saying it's been a great 3 years getting to know everyone here in our community in our little section of internet nerdom

With that, let's get down to bidness shall we?

Ok here's the deal, I have my 15,000th post coming up and I'd like to commemorate it with an MWO meme. I'm putting it to you, the community, to come up with the best MWO meme voted for by the community. Here's the deal, you get ONE entry (so make it a good one), you cannot switch after making your entry. I will post each entry into the poll once and let the community vote.

The contest begins... TODAY! You have until this Friday at midnight to submit an entry. The entrie will stop being accepted at midnight this coming Friday December 25. Voting will be open for 2 days after over the weekend. The one with the most votes wins, simple right?

I will be handing out Premium time to the winner. If there are enough entries and participation I will look into offering more than one prize for good entries and categories

Rules for the meme. It MUST follow all CoC and ToS of the forums and PGI. You must legally own the content you submit and it must be an original piece of work. Other than that do it to it! I'm interested to see what everyone comes up with. If your entry is deleted for breaking the ToS, CoC, etc. it will be disqualified so please keep this in mind as you create them. Once an entry is submitted you agree to have your entry presented in promotional materials in the future as well.

This pretty much eliminates every meme out there. I don't think any of the meme pictures out there are owned by the person using them.

AKA: How I'm I supposed to get a picture of Xhibit, The ROCK, Russ and Paul without stalking all of them with my own private paparazzi army?

Even art depicting Battlemechs...we don't technically have the rights to, correct? I know I cannot legally resell any of my "fan art", anyhow?

Pretty sure Blastman made the Steering Wheel underhive (I think that one wins, if entered)

By original, do you mean caption, or whole item? Example:

Let me clarify on the "legal ownership"
Since you are not actually using this for commercial gain, and I won't be using this for commerical gain, plus the laws surrounding parodies, you can use the original art piece (unless the owner specifically requests you do not) as long as the artwork creating the meme itself is original.

Hope that clarifies! I'll be keeping my posting to a minimum (and possibly creating an alt) so that I can preserve the postings.

Comic strips are allowed as well, remember though, if you use a pre-existing comic you may run into issues with copyright. Please make sure you're not violating any laws, treaties, or intergalactic policies. The individual submitting the images is responsible for all of this. I'm not getting sued for you nerds

In other words, use your common sense folks. It's a cool contest for a small community. Unless you really go out of your way to do something really dumb, you'll all be fine. The legalese is more or less to set guidelines for the winners and so that I have permission to use it later for promotional material

10-4. Whatever internet photos are out there are fair game to start with and caption, just don't dredge the existing meme thread and use someone else's meme as your own.

And I don't know if this would be allowed... but it sure is funny for those who understood when mechs got nerfed or buffed.

I snipped that from a QKD death I experienced a while back. If you want to see the entire animation (it's pretty humorous), just check out the video "Acrobatic Death QKD" on Nightmare's Gaming Channel. I'm not going to post the vid here because I don't have the video editing tools necessary to blot out player names.

I love how it looks like it's kicking a Mech with its foot!
