This: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...470fb303c52d475
Or the same with spls instead. Check legs etc to make sure you get the ones with the durability quirks.

Either way, there are mechs that do everything the mlx dies, but better so be warned

Since this thread was originally posted in the medium mech section but now it's where it should be I'll repost my response to that other thread here.
"Easy peasy" Well sort of, a GOOD build is impossible, the MLX is a lacklustre mech but there are two optimal builds for this mech.
Sniper Escort (ECM+ERPPC): MLX-PRIME
Escort assault mechs providing ECM and fire support, jump sniping from afar is pretty safe thanks to ECM. DPS is terribad though, you need a lot of time to do any sort of real damage to a healthy mech.
Dwarf Berserker (4xcSPL): MLX-PRIME
With a total disrespect for self survival this little boy is actually a fantastic flanker, just don't go too far, you are too slow, but those jump jets let you open new fire fronts, DPS is pretty good and people tend to ignore you as long as there is anything else to shot at.
I honestly favour the second build vastly over the first, though most people seem to disagree with me, imo in current meta going to a fight with the abysmal DPS of the sniper -2.1 dps sustained- is a waste of a mech slot, the crazy zerker may be relatively slow and weak but the jump jets let you overcome most of that impairment if you are creative with them and once you are in a good firing position your DPS is actually noticeable, 4.56 dps sustained and 8 dps for 34 seconds until over heat which you may notice is more than enough to rear core most assault before you got to stop firing due to heat.

You could also go with ecm with tag and ErLL, great for bringing the money in but probably better in cw or group where you can make sure someone brings the lurms. I also quite like the stock mlx-b but that's me.

I run mine with 1 cERPPC on right arm, 2 cÉRSL on left arm and max armor.

I don't think cERLL is a good idea, not in most mechs because it's pretty lacklustre right now but specially not in a small and slow mech that relies on stealth to survive, that long lasting blue beam is a perfect indicator of where you are and requires too much exposure, if you want to snipe take an ERPPC, it will be harder to locate you, requires minimum exposure to enemy fire and concentrates damage better.
