Now it seems like a large portion of topics are being pointed at either the clanners or inner sphere of being overpowered or underpowered, whatever the case is. I don't believe the problem can be solved by simply changing quirks, adding more mechs to one side, rebalancing weight and weapons etc. I think the problem is the fact that we just don't have enough detail in the game.

One for example, is our maps are too small and too few. When I start a match I bet you half the time I can get to higher ground in 30 seconds and spot the enemy team. If we had bigger maps It would bring a need for more strategy on maps rather than do the normal drop and brawl wouldn't you love to pull the old bait and switch have the enemy team chase a light mech into a full blown ambush? we also lack large city scaled maps where close range is more viable for our brawler classes. These are just examples that I could think of I just hope you can see where im getting at.

Next is the realism of this game is missing For example say im jogging my atlas through a city and I walk into a 2 story building, the building should be gone or at very least your mech should go through it. I also believe you should pay a heavy fine for running a locust into an Atlas. A locust moving at 170Kph running into an atlas should result in your locust being destroyed or at least heavily damaged. This also relates to The issue I have with an assault mech getting stuck on a 10 foot high rock being completely stopped in its tracks and having to go around it. You go through crap like that. Along with that if I shoot off an arm on a mech it falls off right? If I shoot off a leg on an enemy mech it falls off right?... wrong... I think in my opinion that shooting off an enemy leg should knock the mech over and kill it because I believe this game would become very interesting if they went with that.

Another point id like to make is the fact we do not have infantry, tanks, or aircraft dishing it out on the battlefield with us. I want to feel like I am in a hundred ton mech when I run into battle and step on a tank and it explodes or infantry die when I shoot it with my massive pulse lasers. It would also add to more strategy when your cannon fodder manages to isolate and kill an enemy mech on their own.

Its impossible to completely balance a game lets cut out this crap and make the game more interesting rather than have people cry about balancing.

Adding more variables doesn't help with balancing, if the first set are unbalanced in the first place.

See Clam introduction with rubbish IS weapon balance, passed onto Clam tech.

This quite possibly qualifies for the most useless post made in the last uh 20 minutes.
