So this leader board gives us an opportunity to guesstimate the number of packs sold. played a round in my MAD-5M earlier and it shows me at 339. Curious as to how many packs that could mean

Still hard to say. Not everyone who has the packs may use each mech. For example, the only mech I have used today was the hunchback iic, but I also do own the marauder.

Yeah but it gives you an "at least this many sold" ballpark

If we could get somebody to just scratch the enemy with a laser and then die in each chassis so they have a tiny match score, we would be pretty close to knowing. We would also need every single person that bought a pack to play a quick play match in each mech, though. The Origins pack had multiple tiers. I myself only bought the Jenner and Hunchie, so there are likely others that only bought certain tiers.

I volunteer as tribute. I'll be taking my least liked chassis and going out with the tiniest fizzle the universe has had the displeasure of seeing.

So with MS of 92 i must be near the end: 1,268

absolute minimum must be 10points, or at least 13 if you want to "contribute" to the battle
(death; loose, 45 dmg, and hope nobody kills that guy)

or for sience - suicide rush and fire all your weapons into the surroundings

Yeah that's what I was thinking of doing with all the variants that I don't/can't legitimately play. Thanks for volunteering Grey!

I look forward to seeing some of the numbers. I don't think PGI is making money hand over fist, but I do think that they are scraping enough up to continue to fund the development. It will be interesting to see

Thats assuming everyone with packs is going to play the tournament with them.

Personally, I hate leader-board challenges, and still have a bunch of reg IS mechs I'm working on (still mastering out Black knights.)

So I'm not too thrilled to simply play a bunch of "me too" Mad's and IIC mechs for the weekend when everyone else is. I'll enjoy my IIC's and Mads on my own time when everyone else moves on from them. ( Although I'm sure the Mad will be a mainstay given how fun that mech is.)
