Every time I leave my PC unattended with MWO in the background (mechlab) I return and the game unexpectedly closed.

Some memory leak or what?

I never ever crash inside the game when I'm in a match or just being active in mechlab.

I thought the game logs you out after a period of time with no input.

Not anymore. This feature was either disable or broken months ago. I leave MWO running for ages while tabbed out or AFK and it doesn't log me out.

When it used to it would take you back to the login screen with the prompt "You have been logged out for inactivity". If it's crashing or closing then something is wrong
