Dual Elites would give them the same amount of money as an Legendary. How exactly is it a scam?

No, it would be 2 Elites @ $60, with each giving $80 in-game currency for a total of $160 - costing him $120, the same as the Legendary which would only give the intended $80 in-game currency for $120.

Sad.

It seems like you are spending the same money for something you would only benefit two seperate accounts.

But that's not a scam that's just a different way of buying them using the choices they gave us. A scam for example would be to somehow get MORE than the listed value for the same price. Buying 2 Elites on 2 accounts isn't a scam, it's just clever. Not sure how it's "sad" to be clever.

my comment is just buy the products and enjoy them, instead of trying to figure out a way to get more.

There is the fact that the devs really don't want people with more than 1 account. Not really much to having more than one account anyways.

No one is that rich. But ya the value would be insane. Every Founder Mech, 320$ worth of C Bills, 8 Premium months, 36 Mech slots. You could dedicate each account to 1 weight class and have 9 slots per. It'd be the perfect MechWarrior dream.

Yer.. but we don't even know if money/stuff is transferable between accounts yet.. so buying 2 (or 4) elite packages may end up being 4 separate and always separate accounts.. some people would be fine with that.. I know I wouldn't want my time split between 2 or 4 accounts.

Wow, it simply amazes me that some people seem to be unable to take the Founders' packages for what they are. FFS people, it is what it is... either support and appreciate what the DEV's have put forth for all of us or leave it alone! I have enjoyed this game since pencil and paper... it being brought back to life again on the computer is absolutely awesome AFAIC. I've gotten the Founders' package without question because I believe in what the DEV's are attempting to do for the franchise of BattleTech/MechWarrior. Why can't everyone just be happy with that?!? :)

As I said my solution would be to make every account target a specific weight class. AkA Account A=Lights, Account B=Mediums, and so on. But I already got Legendary so I'll just be sticking with this.

wow i never actually meant for this to be some huge debate. My thought behind it was that spending $60 gives $80-igc but for $120 you still only get $80-igc. And while i want more than one Prime mech i don't really want the Jenner or the Catapult.
The difference between Elite and Legendary for me. -"Is the Hunchback and one extra month of premium worth 60 more dollars."

(and before someone says it, i know you actually get 3 more mechs)

Premium time for founders start right after the injection of the founders program into closed beta. So you would still have "only" two months of premium on every account.

Sorry, couldn't resist the urge to nitpick here. B)

There will likely be additional boosters you can buy for later too to help make it up in the long run, not like you can use the premium months at the same time. B)

That's a good point if they don't run concurrently; You can only dedicate x-hours per month to gaming, no matter how many premium accounts you have running at a time, so that when you're playing on one account with premium, all the other accounts are "wasting" their premium time.]

I take on board the point earlier about using 2x accounts to gain more MC's (jus' like the Beatsie-Boys) than 1x Ledge', but I still think that somehow it's going against the spirit of the thing.
It's not a scam by any means & folk shouldn't really use that word, it's more of an exploit.. B)

sounds painful to run with multiple accounts. The hassle of switching between them to switch mechs would be a PITA. Not to mention you cant move equipment around, modules around, and pilot XP would be split.
