This struck me as interesting given some of the rumors about Mercstar that float around.

I love reading the conspiracy theories that pop up when large units get bored and go to other factions to get some fresh action.

Even more fun is reading the factionalism (faction pride/schadenfreude ? not sure what the right term here is) that some of the players impute to these movements as well. It takes me back to my RPG days when I was 12. I'm all for it. Gives the game character and the veneer of "meaning" that CW is in desperate need of.

On that note, is this an opportunity for some organized CW against some clans (wolves or other)?

The last time Liao talked s**t to the Clans about them stopping them cold and defending the IS because no other house could, the got STOMPED. They lost a quarter of their territory and an important world. Liao is led by madmen who will never cooperate with the rest of the sphere.
