So with that in mind I'd just like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad or what ever term you prefer.
To the original Vets/Founders that are still here. I know that game isn't perfect, we were sold on stuff that never appeared or was taken away from us, but hey.....we are still here so as flawed as many find it, it still gets you to play (albeit not nearly as much as previously). This game could not have existed without your help and optimism.
To the Blackest Knights, who truly hate the game and the Devs. Still, many of you play, and I admire your passion for the game and I share some of your feelings of betrayal, but I can't go so far as to actively try to take it down. If it's not worthy it will die a natural death, it just might take longer than you want. Focus isn't always a bad thing, but remember, it's just a game and you can apply that ability to focus in other areas of your life. Concentrating that much into a game that failed you is really contradictory. Lighten up a bit.
To the White Knights, who defend this game against all comers whether they have a decent point or not. I admire your dedication towards an ideal. The world wouldn't be what it is without dreamers. That said, you are the mirror image of the guys above and you need to take a breath, think about the criticism you attack reflexively. Negative criticism isn't always bad, it can help improve the game and is probably better than slavish dedication without reason. Lighten up a bit.
To the unwashed masses who just play the game. Merry Christmas! I don't need to preach to you, you got it figured out. It's a game. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's not. Only play on the fun days.
To the noobs from STEAM. Be patient, this game isn't kind to new players. There are some truly good people in game and the forums that will be glad to help you. Thanks for joining us, but don't bother me with questions. I cherish my grinchyness too much to give it up entirely.
To the Devs. Merry Christmas to you and your families. I hope you realize how lucky you are, despite the rancor you encounter daily. Keep in mind you earned a lot of it, but if you are truly passionate about the game you have to understand the passionate opinions it generates.
Despite the fact I sometimes can't understand how you think, I hope you know that you can do better and hopefully that's what you concentrate on. Christmas always brings out the optimist in me and I hope you work hard to move this MVP forward and find a way to improve relations and make proper use of the Community you are so lucky to have. This Community can be a powerful resource if properly cultivated. Earn their respect and watch them open their wallets out of appreciation.
