Looking at those orthos again, I think another problem with them and the final model is the chest width (distance from one shoulder to the other) is too narrow. This was probably a deliberate choice to help stop it being a barn door like the awesome. However, it does detract from the classic broad chested Warhammer "look" quite a bit.

Looks very beefy, almost like the battlemaster. I wonder how they match up scale-wise.

Well, nice to know they do listen at times.

Head, shoulders, knees, or toes. I don't care. I just want the Wham-bros (Warhammer and Hellbie) to have functional spotlights, damn it!

You know, so I could strobe hateful messages in morse across the map. Or blind people in Night Vision. Or embark in a most epic "flash off" with an enemy mech. >_>

The most epic "flash off", huh? You do know that flashing is illegal, right? Posted Image

Dunno, despite looking different from the concept art, I'm still absolutely loving the Warhammer's look. I'm more worried about it being actually useful Posted Image

Well, I doubt it will meta. Usefulness will depend on hitboxes and quirks imo. As long as it is tough enough to brawl and mid range fight, it should be fine. Whether that will be the case? Good question. They managed to make the MAD work though, so I am thinking something as iconic as the Whammy will get pretty good treatment.

Insert something or other that's likely already been said multiple times about how he's tier 5 and his title is 'cadet' here.

I still think it looks like a Loki that went to the gym and got buff. :)

Nice to see them in the game, though.

The Whammy was always my favorite mech from tabletop.... So when I heard it was being released, there was only one thing that I thought of.

Then I saw Alex's concept art for it, and thought.

Nice to see them in the game, though.

Better way to look at is is this:
WHM is Chris Hemsworth as Thor
HBR is Chris Hemsworth at the end of Heart of the Sea.

Cuz whammy came first.

Just gotta say I love the warhammer, and I'm super happy that Russ and the guys took the constructive criticism well! The head and arm positions do make a big difference in the 'hammer's stance!

Can't wait until January and this puppy is set free :D
