Please disable any 3rd party program that tracks stats. In a certain tank game, there is a tracking mod called xmr/efficiency-something that calculates arguably useless stats into a score.
Players trying to grow thier epeens then get on matches and ridicule those with low ratings. I just find it annoying and it creates a hostile environment in a game that already has a lot of immature players.

As long as it's kept within a Mercenary Unit or House I don't see where the problem is. For a place like Solaris VII, it's almost necessary and would be part of the lore to do. If this game were going to be based specifically around individuals and not teams, I would agree with you.

key word here being arguably. which means if they can be argued useless, they can also be argued as useful. which they are.
splitting hairs over simmilar numbers is pointless, however there is usually an incredible difference in situational awareness and metagame cognisance between 800 efficiency and 2200 efficiency. does the 2200 efficiency tell you that said player is good in the tank he's currently playing? no. does the 800 efficiency tell you whether or not said player majorly drives artillery? no.
also, A high efficiency but low win rate denotes that said player has comparatively poor situational awareness but is adept at killing things (right place at the wrong time), where as a low efficiency but high win rate often denotes frequent platooning or tank companies if said player is not highly skilled with artillery. even sometimes when they are in fact skilled with artillery.
the variables go on and on and only a knowledgable player can come to appreciate the information efficiency can allude to.
for shallow and petty individuals however, efficiency is a weenie roast, as shallow and petty individuals often take it upon themselves to assign meaning to even the smallest of differences to make themselves feel better about their own abilities, but I digress.
Detailed statistical readouts are essentially the resume of competitive players, often showing where their proficiencies lie, and illuminating where they need improvement.

Its sad but any game where you have teams people will keep track of them. Would be nice if you had an ability to hide your stats. I would be fine with no stats personally but that wont happen.

Stat Tracking is a double edged sword, Personally I like to see where I stand amongst my friends and others. The issue arises when people use stats as the be all end all of how good a person is. Stats like everything else are just a snapshot of the game. It will not tell you how even though one person has bad stats but always manages to be in the right place at the right time, or get that critical hit when all else is failing. Or the team player that just sits back and defends the base while everyone else is out there being rambo.
I like stat tracking, and typically I am not the best player out there in any FPS game but its still nice to see.
Sadly though there are those who will do anything they can to be tops of the stat board and those who will ridicule others because of their lower stats.

Games will always have immature people playing them, and will always have "bad" trash talk to accompany them.
Lets face it your personal stats are just that Statistics and statistics never lie, but you can play with them like Playdo and make them look however you want, while still being technically right.
I say you make them view able only threw an API code generated from with in your account profile. If you don't want to advertise your rank
or what not do not supply your codes to them, while still letting the people that you game with access so additional info they may need to plan out a game. I personally do not mind letting my Lance mates know what my weakness and strengths are faster and more efficiently than just saying "I am a long range Heavy"

I am going to track my own stats if there is no program. I want to know the total C-bill cost of everything I have destroyed and break it down by faction.

They mentioned something about having a website with player stats although I don't think they went into much detail on exactly what would be shown. Presumably as a player you'll have control over your page and whether it display everything, some, or nothing to the public with a possible filter for friends only.
If it doesn't, I'd push for those options.
