The common misconception that it's just a 'game' is humorous at best. It's a form of entertainment that, like any other, is sought after to illicit specific emotional and physical stimuli and psychological effects for the sake of experiencing those desired effects and is in no way of less import than other endeavor as this is essentially the goal of all actions through out life. Add to this the fact this 'game' demands the investment of Time, the most precious resource any of us has. It is no less meaningful just because some decide to minimize the amount of perceived importance it carries.

Yeah, for pugs. But much like this guy playing pro hockey...
100K tournament. Coming soon to a MWO near you.
Remember, we want this to be an esport. So obviously we would be very mad when pugs aren't srs bznis all the time.
But yeah, I chuckle a little when I hear someone go off like that who prolly needs blood pressure pills just to survive playing stompy robbits.

People that play solo queue... they play solo queue because they don't want to interact with other people. Don't be surprised that when you try to take command they don't respond well or act bitter. Nobody wants to be bossed around. People that crave communication and coordination are the ones that join units and work together and build relationships. Solo players... they're another breed. And there's lots of them.
Why do you hate independent solo players? Most of us dont hate you.
Some may not want your "breed" in the public queue, but I wouldn't mind.
Cant we all just get along.

Because it's a "team" game.
But if you can't beat them, join them. I'm trying to do more damage than seconds I'm in game. I'm averaging about 30 seconds of life, 200 damage and .75 kills. I've spent too long trying to work with the pugs, time to BE a pug. Funny thing is, after 6 straight hours of what some would call suiciding, I'm still maxed out at tier 1....

Why aren't you just playing with a unit instead?
