I want the ability to strip all modules off all mechs with a single click so I don't have to go module-hunting through my near-100 and counting mechs to find that one module I wanted.

With 268 mechs this is more important to me than anything else. Module hunting can take up to 20 minutes sometimes.

Its been this way for so long that I feel PGI may want it this way. It forces the player to waste their time looking for parts or fork over c-bills to purchase something they already own but can't find.

Combined with the salvable loadouts something like on Xcom2... "Make modules available", "Make engines available" or just "Make equipment available" so it appears on your inventory even if it's equiped on another mech...

Some really great ideas I only hope a MOD or DEV reads this topic and implements some of these great ideas into the game. Keep up the posts so PGI gets the hint we would want this in MWO or the topic does not get buried under 1000 other topics.

This has already been answered before and it is a solid NO. If you want 2 different load outs on the same mech then buy 2 mechs. It is part of their business. model for you to keep farming c-bills or better yet, spend some MC.
Russ has answered this in a town hall before so no need to keep asking the question he already answered.

I agree

+1

My guess is that PGI would never do that because they want you to get frustrated finding a module, go "Screw It!" and buy another for 3,000,000 C-Bills, and when you run out of C-Bills, you buy more with real money or MC.

It's all about the dollar. Posted Image

...if you would like to see this feature put into MWO you the community needs to reply to this topic and make PGI aware it is a feature you want.

YES!

(Is this emphatic enough?)

Additionally: Multiple CW dropdecks would be nice, too.

ALSO YES!

This is really to bad I still have all my CD/DVD disks of MechWarrior2-MechWarrior4Mercinaries and all the expansions working and playable and the UI's and mech lab's are so easy to use and functional I just don't understand who at PGI is making the MWO UI's so alienating to players.

Savable load-outs and the ability to use a simple search box to find modules is not rocket science except at PGI? Plus look at this simple bug in the UI (expand-all) button it wont even stay open when clicked? Simple easy fixes that have gone on forever with the UI is annoying as heck after the same people working at PGI for 4 years cant do simple fixes and additions to the mechlab and UI.

I'm spending a lot of money, for my standards, on MWO: I was telling to a friend of mine, jocking, that this "free to play" game is costing to me a lot more than a monthly subscription to MMORPG like World of Warcraft (at least there it's 15$ per month). That's fine: I enjoy this game a lot and I am willing to support its development.
BUT I want to spend my money on new colour / patterns / mechs / features, not on copy of mechs I already own because of UI limitation of the game.
My 2 € cents.

Are you willing to pay 300 MC per additional loadout? That's what it currently costs.

t's called a "C-Bill Sink" and it's purpose is to make you spend money for more equipment and modules than you really need, thus encouraging frustrated players to buy MC, etc.

Some sort of import/export text string would be a nice-to-have as well. If i fiddle with Smurfy's over lunch at work and make something, exporting to a string and importing that in Mechlab and having it configure would be really nice.
