Greetings.
Been a while since I played and a few things has been updated/changed.
2day I was watching some videos on YT of the new mechs and saw this one where the onboard computers voice is different from the one ingame.
I could not find any option ingame where one can change the voice of the onboard computer. Is there a custom voice pack one can download or something? Or is the voice in the video edited in after? I like the voice in the video alot better than the one ingame atm, so if there is a way to obtain it that would be great.

A bi itching Betty custom computer voice has been requested numerous times. As well other voices and accents.
This is right up there with comms wheel for requested audio customization and features.
Although my favouite is an AC 5/2 noise suppressor. (totally unrelated but noise should be a sensor factor..........It most definitely is in rl combat)
+1 for more premium content.

I feel OP should know that PGI has stated that they do consider custom sound mods to be, "modifications to the game client," and thus not allowed.
Simply put, the only word we've gotten from PGI is that it's not allowed based on their understanding that the sound pack alters existing game files, which it does not. At best, it's a gray area. I think it's very unlikely that PGI will do anything about it, given there's no advantage and is done in good faith, HOWEVER, users won't have a leg to stand on if PGI does decide to enforce it, a decision that would be massively unpopular, but would be well within their rights to do so.
It's your choice in the end. There are many players who use this sound pack in good faith, so if PGI reacts in a worst case type scenario, and bans everybody using these sounds, you definitely won't be alone, and the resulting s***storm would be so massive it could very likely kill the game overnight.
I personally think the most likely scenario is PGI would just find a way to block these sound packs from working altogether, which would still be an unfavorable decision, but at least wouldn't be a punitive action.
TLDR: Don't assume these sound packs are sanctioned by PGI, because they aren't. Download at your own risk.

Thanks for the warning.
I was hoping that since it was just a voice and nothing game-mechanic altering that it would be OK. But if they have stated that it's not allowed there's not much to do about it.
I guess I'll take the safer rout, since I've spend a few bucks on the game and it would leave a bitter taste if (in worst case scenario) the banhammer would come for a visit.
Hopefully in the future they will add options for voices or just allow voice packs.
