I can't relate. My games have been pretty quiet. I don't play during US primetime though.

I'll grant that about 1 in 4 of my matches are quiet. 1 of them will be tactical chat mostly. Half are complaining, cursing, 12-year-olds.

Haven't noticed any change from my tier, but my father in his alt account is definitely experiencing the same thing.

I haven't experienced this at all. Played probably 50 matches or so since Steam launch.

I've not had on voice chat since its been in the game, just all chat and team chat. I'm listening to music that would drown out any conversation anyway. Also I made a push to get out of T3 and to the high ground of T2 within a week after steam dropped, so I haven't had much interaction with the new player crowd.

Having been on Steam for years and having played many games there I would expect that the vast majority of mic users currently in T5 and T4 from steam are some young kids whining about something while using all the words their mommies told them not to.

I've played almost 50 hours since it moved to Steam and I've only heard what I thought was a kid once.

Overall it's been a positive experience

Down here at Tier 4 not had a single example of this - nearly at Tier 3 so will see if that changes

Only ever had a match where some guy asked if MWO was pay 2 win, me and another told him it wasn't pay 2 win but you could get stuff faster with cash and he started going on stubbornly on how pay 2 win that is before YOLOing against our team. More of a kek to be honest.

Just helpful tips and light tactical chatter on the comms (which I would really like to hear more of since those games usually end up in the win column )

Can count on one hand the number of derogatory usage of comms since Steam launch.
