Messed around in mechlab and testing grounds.
Jenners handle like butter - even unbasic'd.
AC is gonna sit on the shelf a while.

Dude. Duuuuude. Not cool. JR7-IIC SRM6x6

That's pretty much a destroyed light every time you find one. And probably a cored DWF or a half dead TBR.

Being a main Locust pilot, I have to say tripling my armament, armor, and gaining jump jets doesn't hurt (me.) I tried a game in the stock variant and had some real good time. The only problem I had was the lack of ammunition (which will be easily fixed with some tinkering).

I'm really interested in trying this out: Slurm Hose.

Set those suckers to chain fire and let em rip.

So I tried my hands at 5x6SRM. I'm not even sure how you can manage your ammunition with 6SRMs...I barely have enough for a game with 5 of 'em.

With that said, the damage is really over the top. Who the hell thought this thing could even be remotely close to being balanced? If a Light turn his back on me, it's pretty much a guaranteed kill. If he faces me and we're close, it's also a guaranteed kill. If I manage to creep up into anything other than a stock Assault (which comes with a ton of armor on the back), it is pretty much dead.

So I tried it last night and wasn't all that wild about it. They didn't chain fire as fast I had hoped they would, and the Alpha is a little on the weak side, although it is concentrated and you can mount a 315 XL with it if you drop the heatsinks and a ton of ammo.

All in all I think it's better just running with a smaller engine and SRM4 or SRM6.

I had a blast last night with other people's new Jenner IIC's.... There are at least 3 lights now in most the matches I play.
You will fear MY MISSILES!

No I won't. I'll tell my team where you are and let them kill you. Splat Dogs are not very effective against something the size of a heavy or assault and are about equal to a Medium. The only thing you threaten are lights and I can make sure on most maps that you don't hit me, but I can make sure to light you up for my team.

I play this build like I would an LRM build against assaults. My job isn't to kill them or take them one on one, but to weaken them. I have two shotted mechs as big as a centurion, 72 alpha is 72 alpha. It's more viable than you might think. I took out 4 lights and a medium yesterday. They were trying to harass the assaults. I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield! Posted Image

I'm not really THRILLED with this mech, but it DOES have huge potential for folks who like the missile lights.

I've been a little more impressed with the other JR7-II-C variants. A few cSPLs or cERSLs, and some big missiles in the middle? Werks fer me!

I'm thinking this will be a common sight:

JR7-IIC

Light-hunter.

Not enough endurance to last the whole match. 200 missiles isn't exactly a lot...

I find this build has a lot of flexibility.

Speed is not as high but it has JJs so play to the mech's abilities.
