that will not happen as we all know IS will always be the quirkpampered half of the team the IS omni s will ofcourse get a lorry full of extra quirks for the quirks and extra bonus on top and no hardwiring IS can change everything
its naive to think PGI will even think of actually balancing IS

balance is good right now
IIC mechs, who knows, maybe they need a little love, maybe not. I am seeing people ripping sh*t up in them though, so I'm thinking any difficulties are more to do with a player's style, or having to learn change the way they play for a new chassis

But its quite simple just you wait and see how many play on clan side at Tuk 3
Maybe the mercs are payed well enough to play on clanside again
imagine there is invasion time and noone is coming

This is true. IIc's are Clan only and they do get shredded in seconds, players all know this now so the IIc's are free-kills. They make my Shadow Cat seem tough. The fragility is just a bit too much though, I won't be using them until they are fixed, except to master them. However, no more pre-orders for PGI. Now they have to prove their new stuff is worth buying because they seem to have become nerf-happy about anything Clan. It's so bad the IIc's don't even seem like battlemechs.

It wasn't a snide comment, it's true, they are new style mechs and you can't expect to play them like any previous ones. IIC mechs just came out, they have yet to be adjusted, and aren't any kind of indicator of overall clan/Is balance, since nothing yet exists like them on either side. People generally seem to find them too squishy so chances are they will get some extra structure or armor quirks, maybe not to the IS level but a small adjustment.
Can you imagine the backlash, if they released hugely OP mechs, even meaning to change them, at the same time as Steam just came out. This game has a nice reputation for not being P2W and that would destroy it in an instant. PGI went conservatively and honestly that was the best choice in this situation.
So overall balance between sides, which honestly is better than ever generally speaking (some chassis individually need some extra adjustments). You're gonna have to accept that soloing your way through 2 -3 IS heavies in a TBR, those days are over.
Clearly you are intent on playing the victim here though so good day to you sir

that's because the few times we end up in match against each other you go and get killed by someone else before I can bring my Can Opener out to play.....

The only thing I wish they would do, is give it a quirk that lets it fire both 20s. I mean seriously, it's bad enough that double-tapping a UAC20 triggers ghost heat, but when you've got two of them in a mech that has the equivalent armor of an Urbanmech (fully armored. The power of quirks man), and the only way you're gonna do anything in a match is to burn through that 3 tons of ammo as fast as possible? Yeah. I don't mind the Glass-Cannon. I just want to be able to actually fire it BEFORE it shatters.
