[Bill Lumbar]

So after a very long rest of playing MWO like I used to, here I am, Cbill's have increased... something that needed to happen for so long now. So PGI finally gave us that increase, and I have been back playing the last week pretty steady. Many things can be said about this long and bumpy road of a game we call MWO.

I love the core game play, sure it needs depth... its screaming for it! Main issue I had besides lack of depth was the snails pace for a progression we have all endured over the last two years. Earnings are not there yet...but they are an improvement... thanks PGI, I will continue to stomp robots... and no more tier 4 for me, tier 3 here I come!

Tier three... The OmniTier. This is the only Tier that plays with and against everybody. Not all in one match, mind you, but overall this is the only Tier that plays with Tier 5 players and Tier 1 players.

My alt is low T3 and i cant stand it....not because people suck or anything. Most the time the opposite. But i can never put a finger on wtf my team is gonna do and it drives me bonkers.

Its good and bad IMO, but man, some games i was slamming me head on the key board and other we roll em 12-0. Its a strange place being in the middle.

So far I am liking Tier 3 for the most part. I have had some really bad games, rolls... had some games that you get those kinda really mouthy players barking on voice chat... but, I have also had some really good games that our team has, you know, worked as a team and made this game fun. Even on the close ones, win or lose, communication in this game is the key to winning. I find the really good games are just unreal when my team mates all come together and work together, even if we lose it.

My IS account hit tier 3 recently, and man, bottom dropped out of the fun barrel with about a 50% increase in saltiness. Or maybe it's just this event bringing that out with people playing longer than they should.

Tier 3 is also where everyone tries to be the hero. One enemy appears on the side or back and you have 5-6 allies running after him... then not enough people remain on the front line and it crumbles...

Meh... I got into 3 a few weeks ago and found myself wanting to go back.

Thanks to this grab bag and some CW play... I got my wish.
