What happens when faction loses all of its planetary holdings?

That's likely never to happen.

An assault of that scale would require a faction to have a playerbase the size of Planetside 2's player base, and Battletech/Mechwarrior is far too niche to attract that kind of crowd.

Are you sure? Because capital planets have the "capture values" assigned to them.

Smoke Jaguars have one planet only now (Capital).

Clan territories are also about 1/4 the size of most of the IS territories, so they're that much easier to take. I meant a faction like Kurita, Steiner or Davion losing all it's planets is likely to never happen, cause they're just too damn big.
