Don't think for a moment I'm doing anyone a favor but everyone needs to be highly aware that today is the day to spend real money if you ever plan to own MC. Some people are only interested in pre-order packs and I don't blame them. But if you want Heros today is the day.

With 20% free MC and 50% off heros there is probably never going to be a cheaper time to get mechs.

I know how much this sounds like an advertisement but if you know me you know how extremely critical I usually am of developer choices both gameplay-wise and fiscally but as a fellow player I wanted to let you know that today is the DAY. I never ever buy in this game except if there is a sale or it's a mech pack but this is like a special time and stuff. Really. I suppose you could wait until next year and hope they do it again but it's not every year that 20% and 50% are in the same day.

Personally I am going to get like 10 hero mechs that I am sick of not having! La Malinche Misery was only 3187!

Make sure to save up a bit for the supposed clan hero... also bays are half off which practically makes them free.

Oh and don't buy champions.

Yep, if you want heroes and MC, get your credit cards out and get spendin. I don't know if there has ever been an overlap MC/hero sale like this before.

No, PGI does not need nor deserve further funding until they actually progress the game beyond releasing new mechs expanding the existing issues surrounding balance.

I for one will not be funding Russ' ego / new boat / new car until we have meaningful CW that isn't under an excuse of beta after 3 years.

Well, I was able to spend so MC that I've had sitting for at least a year on the Quarantine and Top Dog mechs. Also bought another 6 bays. But I wouldn't buy more MC at this point. They need to give me more game before I'll pull that card out again.

+1. Good advice for anyone who wants to buy heroes. I can't say for sure, but i don't remember any sale with both mc and hero price reduction.

I really wanted to buy some of the Unseen mechs, but I just can't justify spending more money on this game yet. They need to give me something new. I'm not sure I'll even buy anything when they give us 4v4, because I feel it's so long overdue.

Maybe when they give us PVE or Solaris. Which ever comes first. Then I guess I'll buy some more stuff.

I'm trying the "complain but trust PGI to be professional and keep giving them money" approach.

Was told by GM Patience on Dec 18th that a PGI staffer would contact me re their broken moderation policy and CM.

Still no response, although I'm being patient because its the holiday season. Last time it was a 3 month wait and I had to bug customer support to finally get heard. Odd that CS responds within days, often hours, but complaints through CM always hit a dead end.

But I went ahead and bought a $30 and $50 package. Am I being stupid? Expecting PGI to treat me professionally? To value paying customers? We'll see. But I feel like PGI is playing me again.

I picked up 30 bucks worth of MC, and a Timber-C (C) for my new clan account.. got a shiny mech, skipped a 15m grind for my third.. and now have over 4k MC banked for mech bays and paint! To bad no clan heroes or i would of bought one of them.. But hey the champion is going to go a long way in helping with all my GXP unlocks.

Yup, well worth it if ya ask me.


PS i had an issue with my new account, granted was the week before the holidays.. it was a Saturday, they got back to me Monday or Tuesday, i did not noticed.. but it was fixed by Tuesday night...

I had pretty much settled on not spending real money on mechs until they bring out the Phoenix Hawk. But then I noticed with the +20% MC bonus and -50% Hero discount the cheapest, $7 MC pack is exactly enough to get you the CDA-X5. So I caved in and got a late Christmas present for myself.

Damn I own all the heroes. All the Primes. All the Top Tier packs. I thought what about premo time. looked it up 220 days active 270 days banked. 3 Free mech bays.

Aside from cockpit stuff nothing to spend it on.

I will pass on this sale but if you need something definitely get it!!!!

Hellslinger is one of the better c-bill farming mechs. Pretty easy to pull 600+ damage even in a terrible match.
