

Weapon Autofire/toggle Fire

when will it be implemented?
for stuff like tag lasers, so you dont have to hold the key down constantly but you can just toggle it on/off.
would also be nice to use with machineguns, flamers and autocannons (especially when in chain fire mode)
all you have to do is add another set of weapon fire keybinds for weapon groups that when you press that key it autofires that weapon group and keeps firing it until you press it again.

I also want group chain fire, something even MW2 had.

i want a new weapon grouping screen. it would have
abiity to toggle chain fire on/off by default.
ability to set the chain fire cycle interval.
the ability to set the group re-fire delay.
set groups to toggle mode.
ability to set groups to other groups (this would allow chain fire a series of groups)
and probibly more stuff that i havent thought of.

that would be asking a bit too much considering its PGI after all.
i would settle with just an autofire keybing for each weapon group.
really i cant be the only one who thought or suggested this.
why is it still not in the game after 4 years its ridiculous.

still if i get the first two i would be happy. but its ok i can just macro the hell out of it.

There should be weapon eject, so when your overheating you can eject a weapon off for an instant coolshot

That makes no sense. The heat is in your heatsinks not your weapon.
But there should be an jettison ammo command that allows you to eject ammo. So if your weapons get destroyed you can eject all the ammo for that weapon by highlighting it and pressing ctrl-J or something.
Alternatively you could make that a function of CASE. CASE could automatically eject the ammo in the same location as CASE if all the weapons associated with that ammo type have been destroyed. CASE would still suck but at least it would do something useful then.

or pgi's for that matter. this game has horrible physics.
