no idea, I have not purchased anything through steam, you can buy almost everything through this website if steam is leveling other charges.

You can use your wallet for the 4 mech packs.. Outside of that i am not sure..
FYI the packages are a decent value. but come with 2 mechs each, + MC one clan and one Inner sphere.. You get some bonuses with um, and they have a + 30% c-bill earning and are unique to steam.. You can get non c-bill boosting versions here in game.

You can only buy MC via the steam wallet if your running the steam version.
