When Will Real Joystick Support Be Added?

I mainly supported this game because I love the immersion of a HOTAS when playing MechWarrior 4, but MWO has awful support for joysticks; mainly, the "analog" joystick is actually binary.

I'm fine with Mouse+KB, but I'd rather not seriously regret my legendary founder status based on a promise of real HOTAS support.
