So I just purchased the Misery on sale and I have been looking up builds for the Stalker but there is NOTHING for the Misery variant.
Can you guys post some good builds for this thing?

My personal favorite is 4 LPL in the upper mounts and a spare MPL in the CT. Meta is considered AC20 2xPPC or 3 LL and Gauss. Personally the large pulses in high mounts does it for me. Hill hump all match long.

I recommend you got to metamechs.com for build reference ideas. Gman's interpretation of the meta is always pretty solid advice.

Seen this build on smurfy, should at least give you an idea. Also I've read about a guy mixing AC/20, MPLs and a harraser little LRM. Good luck!

Would it be helpful to drop the legs by 0.4 tons and get another 1/2 ton of AC5 ammo in there?

There's a save and share button up the top, hit that and copy the BB code.
I run mine with a STD 295, AC20, LPL in the center torso and 2 LL in the left arm, used to run 3 LPL and AC20 with the STD 255 but wanted some more speed

11 heat sinks
STD 305
4 ERLL
1MPL

this sniper build is working for me well so far.

What is the average damage you should have per match for this setup mine is usually 500 plus

On a single AC5 3 is usually enough but would be no harm. No one tries to leg it.

I may be late to the party, but I came prepared.

STK-Misery Mk.I: Low heat. AC20, 2x LPL, MPL.

STK-Misery Mk.II: Hotter then Terra-Therma, AC20, 3x LPL.

STK-Misery Mk.IIa: Somewhere between Mk.I and Mk.II. AC20, 2x LL, LPL.

When in doubt what weapons to put on a Stalker, the "universal" build is 4 LPLs + "extras", with a Standard 300 engine preferably.
Alternate "universal" build is 4 LL + "extras", with a Standard 300 engine preferably.

P.S. Look at the mech quirks before trying to stuff weapons and ammo in it: http://snafets.de/mwo/quirks.htm

Ask the forum for help awhile ago myself
http://mwomercs.com/...16#entry4709016

Allot of it has to do with play style:
Allot of people LOVE 'the 40' build
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...25678615f2fce69

but the slow rate of fire always got me pinned by other, faster mechs. Eventually settled on this build

Full armor, hard to disarm and you can swap out the BAP for a AMS

Believe Ive seen Neput Z34's builds in action in some PUGs, impressive Alpha with less heat trouble than my own.

I am having a blast with 4 LPL STD300 setup. Around 50% more damage in matches than with any other build I tried.

Yep I've tried them all and ended up with 4 x LPL build. I only really role it out in CW now for a specific purpose but its a fun mech to play with. Simple but powerful especially late wave.

I usually run this sniper build on my Misery, with ERLL range and cooldown mods, and cooldown mod for the gauss. Also slipped an advanced zoom module on there.
