Jim Jupiter is my band name from a long time ago with a few friends from college. Needless to say I have only the love for music in my DNA and hope to be a better Mechwarrior than musician. Good hunting everyone!

EDIT!

Used the free pilot name change in latest patch to reflect my Tag in all the other games I play. 'The Hig' is actually short for The Highwayman which used to get abbreviated to 'The Hig..' by other titles in game team lists.. So friends and teammates kept calling me 'Hig' and there ya go. I went with the given nick name over the chosen one.

Cheers!

You find the Stormtrooper in a lot of Books and Films, but anyway of the Figur a Stormtooper will be one of the closest to the Enemy. An attacker, a Warrior, a Fighter.
And 13 is one of my favorit numbers, one of luck for me! haha.

Mine was created a long time ago .... to the point I really dont remember if it started for a pen and paper role playing game... or as an online handle for an MMO.... but I do remember that it was to give the character a greek mythology sounding name

My online name (TogusaSAC) is from character Togusa of Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex. It`s great anime.

I also like OmegaRED (character from Marvel Comics) but that was taken here :D

Simply, my Callsign has been Nom for the last 10 years or so. Known and feared around the gameverse!.... ok not really.

Had to be longer than 3 characters, so created TheOnlyNom.

Also Nom is french for Name. The eating pun was a happy accident.

Sternus Drakonus: Paladin of Paladine, Grand Knight of the Order of the Silver Dragon, The Undead Slayer, The Pegasus Knight, Knight Grand Commander of the Order of the Sanguine Heart, Lord of Fire and Wood, Master of the Gentle Way, Knight Champion of the Order of the Flaming Fist, Knight Champion of the Order of the Stone Fist, Defender of Holy Virtues, Knight of the Circle of Light, Defender of the Fey Realms, Baron of the Brass City, Baron of High Keep, Baron of Seareach, Baron of Seawatch, Count of Irons, Count of Donnegal, Count of Reims, Duke of the Lands of Shield Harbor, Arch-Duke of Bonn, Greivens, and Stormhold, His Majesty High King of Ravenscrest, His Majesty 5th King of Hylore (joint rule, retired), Mithryl Dragon (Honorary), "Shieldbearer of Paladine", Demigod of Holy Fire, Grand General of the Army of Paladine,Proxy of Paladine.
These are the titles i have acquired over 25 years of D&D, and AD&D Gaming with my 36th level Paladin. He is the longest running SURVIVING character that i have. He seems to be kind of lucky so i use this name on all of my TT/MMO/MMORPG characters. I will stop using the name at or arround my untimely demise. He is kind of a "Kwai Chang Kane meets Arnold Schwarzenegger" type. BIG time pacifist when it comes to mortals (unless cornered or must save a life). Absolute TERROR of "unnatural" evil creatures. ESPECIALLY the Undead. :D

Greetings, Folks

I decided to give a little more information about my call sign, I have used Wolniewski for about 20 years now this started back in ad&d or paper, pencil and dice role playing games. I then used it in all of the MMORPGs I have taken up from that time on. I have developed three novels around multiple characters with Wolniewski as there family name. I have not yet gotten them published because I am putting the final touches on them and well I keep adding to them. Also it is also my traditional family name.

Short version: the callsign of my online persona, Alec "Alpha-One" Raynes.

Long version: The name of my first MMO character in City of Villains, a Mercenaries/Force Fields Mastermind. Back in my Navy days, I was a boarding party assaulter and our callsigns were all phonetic alpha + digit, so it didn't matter who filled the role, you could quickly call someone up on the radio. Alpha-One was the team commander, so I found it a fitting name for a mercenary commander. Since then I've used some permutation of that name whenever I roll a character in a new game. Alec Raynes is the combination of a couple character names, Alec Sects from Spyhunter and Memphis Rains from Gone in 60 Seconds. Nothing too important about either, just thought the combo sounded good.

Iron Fang is from World of Tanks. I wanted something to have a **** to it. I knew i was going to play the German tanks and I was thinking of the "Iron Cross", Iron armor = big heavy vehicle, Iron shell = like a flying fang and I have a WarMachine TT game and one of my favorite units are called "Ironfang Pikemen"................TAA DAA!

Interesting: the verb to chomp down on something with your teeth is censored.

years ago I read a book called Steel Helix by Ann Zeddies about geneticly engineired humans that were designed to replace mankind. but someone on MS Gaming Zone alreading had Helix, so I chose a diffrent spelling. Hilix. Ironicly I was recruited by Clan Steel Viper when playing MW3 and became CSV_HiliX_MW on Zone. I progressed up the ranks untill i their was a big falling out among the upper leaders who wanted to start a merc group intead of a clan. a few of us decided to Keep CSV alive, a few other went on to found Clan Clould Cobra ( CCC ) and a few became the Battle Magic merc group.

Once CSV regained some of its size the leaders decided to hold a Trial of Blood Right for 4 blood names, Breen, Zalman, Andrew, & of coarse Mercer. the trial was open to all members of CSV, and were fought 1v1 with one player choosing the mech and the other the location (map). members could declair for only one blood name trial. I declaired for the Mercer blood name because of the Honor that Khan Sarna Mercer brought to it by restoring Clan Steel Viper after the previous Khan tried to assinate Nicolas Kerensky. I obviously won the trial for the Mercer Blood name and became CSV_HiliX_Mercer_GC (Galaxy Commander) at that time. soon after that everyone started playing everquest or moved on to MW4. with the death of FASA studios and no more mechwarrior games eventually the clan fell appart as people quit playing.

If there are any CSV members out there let me know. I would like to form up again as a merc unit until the clans come at which point i intend to refound CSV.

Horned Owl has been my gamer tag since the very early days of City of Heroes (before PvP even existed in the game). I chose it initially because I like Owls.... and still do...... and its a great tag... just have to grab it early as it can be easily taken.

Ironically, the Peregrine mech was one of my favorites from the 3058 TRO, Clan name for the mech is Horned Owl. It was complete coincidence as I hadn't touched Battletech for quite some time while I was stationed overseas which is when I started playing City of Heroes.

hi everyone!

why did I choose 'washmachine" as my Mechwarrior name? well simple I just don't want people to take me seriously at first. I want my name to bring both laughter and fear to everyone. that's the kind of guy of I am. You never know what I'm thinking.

I chose Tarrasque because of my true gaming roots: Dungeons and Dragons.

In D&D, the Tarrasque is basically the only unkillable creature in existence. Per Wikipedia:

It is hoped that the tarrasque is a solitary creation, some hideous abomination unleashed by the dark arts or by elder, forgotten gods to punish all of nature. The elemental nature of the tarrasque leads the few living tarrasque experts to speculate that the elemental princes of evil have something to do with its existence. In any case, the location of the tarrasque remains a mystery, as it rarely leaves witnesses in its wake, and nature quickly grows over all remnants of its presence. It is rumored that the tarrasque is responsible for the extinction of one ancient civilization, for the records of their last days spoke of a 'great reptilian punisher sent by the gods to end the world'.
