There are several hot sauces that I enjoy, however I must admit that I found another that has a bit of nice flavor for it's heat. Cholula. If you haven't tried it I must say that I recommend this spicy condiment.

My top three enjoyable Hat Sauces would be
1. Sriracha
2. Louisiana
3. Cholula

Texas Pete is fantastic. It's a brand.. not sure what 'type'. I've only gotten it in sachets from a local fish fry. This Cholula sounds pretty good though. Any recommendations?

I've tried a bunch of the common brands and a few of the gourmet Hots keep coming back to Texas Pete .Right amount of Heat for me as well as flavor .Its a Lousiana Stye Hot sauce .For people that haven't tried it its like a Franks Red Hot( also excellent) with a Little less Scoville Units.Cholula is a little less scoville than TP. All three are great though .I think still have them all in fridge right now

i mostly use #3. being a big fan of mexican food and all. when i want to crap napalm, any habanero sauce will do. never did understand the rage about sriracha though. it seemed rather flavorless when i tried it in an asian restaurant. i keep tabasco around as a backup.

find a good habanero/mango sauce and avoid hot sauces that have vinegar as one of the top two ingredients. I also avoid anything with either a shark or a tiger on the label - they tend to rely on vinegar for the "heat".
