On the fence about picking up this hero due to the recent Gauss nerf...

Is it worth it?

Buy it! The pendulum swings this way and that. Dont expect a mech you buy to be the mech you keep over time.

The times they are a changing.
The quirks they are a-Paul-ing

Hero mechs always go on sale you might as well get a good one now and the grid later. Before the gauss nerf I never really liked it. It had way to much face time . The dual gauss heavy mechs are the way to go.

No, it's not.

It was good before Gauss was nerfed, and before it's Gauss quirks were cut down.

It doesn't have enough other hardpoints to do anything useful or interesting with (at least half of which are in poor locations).


Save your MCs.

I just skipped the guass because its not that useful in less than 2, it's still plenty powerful with other loadouts.

Grid Iron is a big waste of MCs now

You can do everything better with a HBK-4G... for free
